First of all Welcome To this game that is filled with awesomesause and we hope you enjoy your experience.
Tip: When your building it realy doesnt matter if you try to copy someone elses building style because you may like it or not but you should just experiment no matter how crazy it looks.....AND building say a house with just 1x1x5's doesnt take long (or much skill) and is frownd apon probly because it isnt very skillful, My thoughts are just go ahead and build or try eventing or rollplaying whatever you do on this wonderful game just have loads of fun.
