Author Topic: How to Make a Model One Color?  (Read 1042 times)

If you make a zombie type, and then spawn it as a zombie, it will sometimes spawn as a color like green, red or pink. How can you make the model just one color, so it won't be able to change colors like that?

You modify or create your own zombie mod. That's the way Rot's works.

No, there is another way.

I would need to see the code in order to help. I looked through the zombie code, and I know how to do it.

replace blank.png with another color, but keep the name as blank.png

tank you darkstar

Bump: I still need help, his advice isn't working for me.

Dont assign it blank.png assign it as the color you want. You only want it to be blank.png if you are doing a colorsift or if you want it to make your avatar.

So, make it black25.png or something?

Name it what ever you want. But you need to assign the texture to the model.

And how would I do that?

Please help. I need the answer soon.

What modeling program are you useing. You need acess to the model.

Oh, dammit.

I'm using Blender, but this isn't my model, it's someone else's.

If you can edit the model you can change the color. But you are useing blender. I can't help you there.

Darkstar sent me the zip file for the zombie dog, now I just need to figure out how to change its color.

You need to be able to edit the model.
