Well, explorer stops responding. I restart. Explorer dosen't start itself. running "Explorer.exe" just brings up an explorer window. So, now I have no icons and taskbar. Any help?

It's not as bad as your display driver "Failing and successfully recovering" after playing Blockland or GTASA, causing your entire desktop to be blank. Not even a background.

Restart the computer.

I have about five times.

Are you sure explorer.exe is not on by default.

How would I check that?

System Restore?
What do I need to type in "Run" in order to get that running?

Wait what? The start menu is gone?

Ctrl Shift Escape, processes tab.

Ctrl Shift Escape, processes tab.
Well, I already said that when explorer is open, it just opens an explorer window. Also, wtf, ctrl alt tab.

Ctrl Shift Escape opens the task manager, wtf does ctrl alt tab do.

I meant to say ctrl shift escape.
But who the forget uses that?

If you have a Windows XP (Media Center Edition 2005, from what it looks like) disk, copy explorer.exe over from that to C:/Windows, then either run it from there or use ctrl+alt+delete to start it.

Oh, and did you end explorer.exe's process, then try running it again?

Dont have the install disk.
I've tried that, yes.
Also, I have weird icon names.

My video card uses custom drivers made by Toshiba and Toshiba's too lazy to put the latest version on their loving site so I can't play Gmod.

I guess your problem is worse, but I miss Gmod D:
