Author Topic: Any help on getting my internet to run faster?  (Read 1145 times)

It's simple. My internet is slow. My youtube is slow, pages take longer to load, Steam games take days to download, I keep getting connection problems on all my Online games. I recently downloaded Yahoo messanger, I think that might be the problem.

Any help?

P.S. I also use a Verizon Wireless internet card.

YOU ARE IN A DEAD ZONE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This.

Try plugging it into an Ethernet cable that is direct from the modem/router.
Or if all you have is wireless, you might have to upgrade your service/get a better wireless card, etc.

Well it's not like that all the time, Normally it's fast.

You may have to get CCleaner and clear temporary files and cookies.

I saw that coming.

We used to have trouble with our cable connection. Our connection would randomly die out and of course we were almost entirely sure it wasn't our fault. Comcast didn't know what it was either and finally we got someone out, they somehow figured out the cable leading to our house would get water in it after raining. Internet has been great since then.

Probably, something is eating up all your RAM. Either
1. Delete whatever's eating your RAM, or
2. get more RAM installed (i did this about $100)
