If someones holding a knife, why would you need a sniper rifle to kill them? Just wait until thy are close enough and shoot them down with the AR-15. Besides, AR-15s are way better in most situations than a sniper rifle.

I live in MI, and like I said; As long as you don't go toting them around there will be no problems no matter where you live.

Also Butterfly Knives are pocket knives. Stilettos or switchblades are gravity knives.

You can own anything you want. Especially weapons, in your home. If the Police or the Government has no reason to search your house you're not going to be fined or arrested for owning something like a butterfly knife, or even something much larger like a shotgun or a carbine. Just don't take it outside, because that's when the law really applies, and police will check you if they see it.

That's good, I'm hiding a giant laser that could possibly take out an entire skyscraper if used correctly.
