Wow, I didn't think it was that much.

We are popular!

I've been typing and had 4 people reply while I was typing.

The Problem he is having, is the same i get. No one posts continuously, and at certain times of the day, certain sections don't get as many posts. If you varied the areas you viewed (Such as the Blockland Forums, compared to the OffTopic Forums. Or Blockland Modification Forums, compared to the Files Forums) you would find that a lot more people are posting than you think. Whenever I'm looking around in General Discussion, it would appear that no one is posting, except from me. However, as soon as I move into the Prints/Faces/Decals section, lots of people are posting in a faster speed. It's simply about being in the right place at the right time, so to speak.

Wow, No one has figured out this is a joke yet.

1120622886 - time of the earliest post I can find
1247351840 - current time
1006255 posts at that moment

Post every 125.9411918450094657914743280 7787 seconds
Of course, that's an average going way back in the day

Wow.

This is a message board, not an instant message service.

The idea dates back to ancient Rome where the Romans would anonymously pin their comments up on the community corkboard. They would come back the next morning and someone would have pinned up a response underneath it.

It facilitated political debate under even the most despotic leaders, although occasionally rulers would send out the army to steal all the thumbtacks. This practice contributed to the invention of the sticky-note, at which point the government gave up and let people say what they wanted to say.

You make one or two posts in a thread and someone responds in a couple of hours or the next day, much like email (but a bit faster and public). If you want a fast conversation you should stick to AIM or MSN or something.
