THIS IS A GUMDROP:
They taste good, like fruit, and are sugar coated sugar. Awesome.
THIS IS A SPICE DROP:
Only you don't know it until you eat it because you assume it's a flavorful gumdrop. Contrary to first impressions, these taste the exact opposite: loving terrible. Like bitter black licorice mint.
So I'm at a party, and there's two bowls on the table. One with pretzels and one with what I ASSUMED to be gumdrops. I like both, so I decided to be bold and mix them. BUT WAIT; For as soon as I shoved them into my mouth I realized that it HAD BEEN A SPICE DROP IN DISGUISE. From here on out it just gets worse. I chew fast to try and get it down quickly, but now it's stuck on my teeth so I'M FORCED TO TASTE IT and when I finally swallow it, the taste lingers for IT'S STILL STUCK TO MY TEETH HOLY stuff. I hold out long enough to brush out my mouth with about 5 dozen pretzels before the taste is gone.
Spice drops. Sneaky forgeters.
