Author Topic: Future/ Spaceship TDM (WIP)  (Read 2091 times)

Story:
it is 3000 years into the future. You are fighting a war with another race. you and your men have been captured and taken away to the enemy ship. as they carry you off through the main corridor, you drop a timed bomb down an air vent. you pass out... A huge explosion wakes you up and you feel the ship hit ground. the holding pods you were contained in have broken and you are free. Almost...

You start off in a storage room.

you open the door to see a large circular hallway. at the end, a hole has been blown in the wall. (probably where the bomb exploded).

you enter a room with two doors. you deside to go left.

Along the hallway you enter there are many doors.

The doors are entrances to docking bays. there are escape pods attached to them.

You open one of the doors and enter the escape pod. but the contols are jammed.

you then proceed to a long hall. what may lie beyond?

This is still a work in progress. i am going to turn it into either a team death match or a zombie DM. it is only half complete so i still need to finish the other side.

Also, the story meant nothing i just added a little something to fit into it instead of just posting picutes...

Rate x/10 if you want. if you have any suggestions on what i could add, please post!

This looks very cool so far. The hallways look duped, but I guess that fits in with the futuristic theme.

most future things look symetrical or repeating. also the future likes round walls instead of straight. or at least some curve in them like the last picture.

I LOVE the doors to your escape pods, they're awesome.

10/10 so far.

First, I'm sorry if I'm being technical here, but the future is not an emotional object, it can't like things. Second, you can't tell if circular hallways are the trend of the future, octagonal hallways might be the trend instead.

Well, besides my irritation at your explanation of the hallways' shape, I have to say that the structural design of hallways and escape pods are fitting for the theme, however it might not be ideal for a TDM, the addition of a large room or open area (a cargo bay or an engine room) might improve the game play.

8/10

Well it's only half done. I will add those later. Thanks for the idea!

8/10  Good, but seems a little bare.  Not much to hide behind.  The escape pods and their doors are cool, you should hide weapons in there or something.

Once again... It's a work in progress. I will add decoration and more cover when I decide what to do with it.
