I believe the reason i was perma-banned from your server was because i said i hated jazz. that stays the same :o

Thanks Worm

My new song goes for 55 seconds naow Is that good for a start??

I use FL Studio 8.

Holy stuff. I can't work with that program even if my life would be decided because of it :/

Thanks Worm

I don't think the length of the song really matters, quality over quantity. Also you're welcome. :)

It's much easier once you've got a midi controller of some sort.

cool music, bro

i should go grab fl studio too.

It's totally worth the money, once you know how to use it.

probably in F then.
I believe it is in the key of F minor.

Tom

I'm gonna put these on my iPod.

Nice song! You aren't Rig or EnV or Maestrorage YET...but good songs!
Keep at it

Edit: Post modified due to me changing my mind about what I said.

All that I suggest is please don't use Newgrounds, they suck. Use Sheezyart instead

www.sheezyart.com

you can upload both art and music there, and it won't be slowed down due to aggressive webtraffic

I tried uploading my stuff there earlier, but for some odd reason I kept getting disconnected from the internet each time I would start to upload. I'll try again later today.

I've also added a new song: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/257317

I really like the new song.  I may consider buying this, I've been making music for about a year with a pretty lame program.  Then I tried the demo for this, it's really a lot better than what I was using before.

Anyway, keep it up.  They're really nice.

I've just uploaded a song, which you can find here:

As for the Sheezyart thing, no thanks, it won't let me upload mp3s or wavs.

Well, now that I've heard your songs. I've noticed a pattern. You seem to just randomly place notes and patterns and then just reuse that stuff over and over. Especially in your "Jazz" song (which to be honest, sounds nothing like Jazz), which is not even long enough to permit such aggressive repeating.

The newest one just repeats the same simple rhythms over and over and doesn't use anything new. The new song may as well be 30 seconds long because of how much it reuses.  This as a result, causes all of your songs to just be there, and not really impact the listener, thus causing the listener to get bored really fast.

So, don't get mad at me for what I said, just keep this in mind when you make your music, you need to spend much time and effort. Because as it stands, I have to state that these songs don't impress. Maybe listen to music and try to understand the structure that you want to shoot for more, and then try to make a song after you realize when its OK to repeat, and when you need to make new content that sticks out from the rest of the song (ever heard of a bridge?).

Oh and I don't know about you, but I have no problem uploading MP3 to SheezyArt.

I finally put up a new song, you can find it at the link below.

I should mention that I know the intro needs work, but I haven't found something to replace it with.
