at least in the states, letting any cat wander is illegal. inc farm cats.
cats are not indigenous to the country. and trespassing applies to non wild animals, to the person that owns them.

when i lived in Minneapolis still, i would go outside to the cats that were picking on my cat in the window. steal their tags and toss the cat in a dumpster.

My cat used to own almost all of my neighborhoods territories from other cats. Now, hes old, and probably lost it all (He barely leaves the house now lol)
