Alright, try and find the wattage of your power supply to start off. They are usually large boxes somewhere inside the case with a fan on the side. There might be a sticker or something on the PSU to tell the wattage.

There's a box with a fan under it that has a sticker with the manufacture date and stuff. It says "Output 250W", but then it also says "Total output power can't exceed 110W", and "Total output power can't exceed 245W".

I can post a picture if you want.

A 250w PSU?

Whoa.
I might be wrong. I'll post a picture of the sticker. Check back in a few minutes

If you can post a picture of the slot you have too, just to be sure.

I'm sorry for the blurryness. But, you can still make out the shapes.

Dusty, lol.

So yes, the red one is PCI-Express. Unfortunately I can't really think of any ways for you to find out if its 2.0, x16, neither or both.

Alright, 250w isn't going to support very demanding cards. I would say that you could go with the ATI HD4350 or the HD 4550.

I believe that slot's PCI-E x16.

Okay... Do you know what the best NVidia card compatible with 250w would be?

You can try the 9400GT or the 8600GT.

I suggest the 8600GT. It's very good, cheap, and plays well.

I've heard that the 9000 series is pretty bad, I'd go with an ATI if I were you.
