LATEST NEWS:9-19-09GONE DORMANT. There will be no clan activities, I can't just keep bumping this, nothing at all happens. Hopefully it will be brought back in half a year or so. It was fun while it lasted.WHO ARE WE?We are a clan based on making future-style space builds,Like space stations, Starships, Flagships. We try and make some very original concepts that are rarely/never seen on before spacecraft. If we get a lot of members, we might make some Weapons, Vehicles, and Emitters.
HOW DID IT START?I was sitting around, thinking. Then I wondered, "Why are there barely any BIG space builds I see, and a lot of these dinky ones that are x32 wide?" Then it struck me. I should make a clan. The beginning was rough, because I needed a hoster. I tried asking people on the #rtb main channel form IRC, but the responses I got were "forget off" or "Nobody gives two stuffs" I tried advertising at the Blockoworld convention, but everyone seemed to hate it and yelled at me. Finally, I made a thread asking for help. [-X-] was nice enough to host a dedi, so the clan was finally up and running. We got a couple members, and now I made this topic.
WHAT MAKES THIS CLAN SPECIAL?There's the fact that we focus on large space builds, but something that I personally think no other clan has ever done before is the MSF (Monthly Starship Fights), where we randomize the clan into 2 teams, and pit our ships against each other. While the cannons are disabled on a ship, (Fakekill time on the mini will be 99 :D) a boarding party can be sent from the enemy team to kill the captain/crew. The fleet with the remaining captains wins.
HOW CAN YOU APP?The application rules are:
- Your ship must be at least 64x128. there may be some exceptions, but ask me first.
- Your ship must serve some purpose in a fleet, like an assault ship that would fire salvos of rockets, or a carrier, which would support vehicles.
- Your weapons can not be Rapid fire rockets non-stop. You can use relays, but it must have a cooldown time. No Mini-Nukes period.
- It MUST use a lot of ramps. If it looks like a box... then it won't be accepted. We don't want giant red cubes in our fleets.
FOR EVENTS:Make something that proves you know how to make Starship events (i.e. Advanced spawnprojectile, cooldown times, relays) You can make a
little ship if you want (You will not get in for building though)
NEWS:We merged with ISBC and gained a few members.
WHAT ARE THE POSITIONS?The positions you can get in are Engineer(Eventer, helps people event their ships), Architect(Builds/designs ships), Inventor(Modder, makes Weapons, Vehicles, and Emitters for the clan), and VIP(They host servers for the clan, and have special access to all of our builds and special events)
