Author Topic: Hawkclaw's weird (i think) port foward problem.  (Read 358 times)

Hi. Okay, heres what happened. 1.I followed the port forwarding tutorial step by step. 2.Then, i opened a server. 3.The Ping diagnostics add-on i have said the server wasn't dead. 4.Then, i asked someone if it was dead anyway, because no-one was joining. 5.Apparently, it was dead. (repeat steps 1-5 a bunch of times)
Additional info:
1.My Dad won't let me do the portforward.com way.
2.Ping diagnostics said it was working every time.

anyone have a solution?

1. Your dad is a loving idiot. It's perfectly safe.
2. Your thingy that tells you your ping must be screwed up, or your internet connection is.

My internet connection seems to be working fine.
wow, you're...pleasant. Its not very polite to insult people in the HELP section.

If you havent done it the portforward.com way you are probably doing it wrong.

But your dad is an idiot.
And the ping diagnostic thing is forgeted up. You should probably stop using it. How do I know? I made it.

Well, i guess i'll try to convince him to let me do it.
The only person that helped was chrono, and that was telling me that the ping diagnostics thing was broken...
