Author Topic: Is Obama a citizen of Kenya?  (Read 2583 times)

Oh my god, they will never let this go until they time travel to the exact day and location where the certificate was signed and folded into its envelope. Actually they wouldn't let it go then either. It is 100% legit, it has been looked over carefully and it has been confirmed as 100% legit. Republicans will keep bullstuffting about it though and you'd all best ignore them. All the other tin-foil hat wearing doofuses will keep making up conspiracy theories and everyone with half an ounce of IQ will ignore them too.

The only reason this stuff is making any noise is because the Media doesn't have enough car crashes and dead baby reports coming in to fill their Bad News quota and they start scrounging for minor political slap fights to fill the space.

It is a bit suspicious that Obama refuses to show his birth certificate.

And that he hired a series of lawyers to defend him when he refused to show it.

I wouldn't show my birth certificate to people, there's no reason to.

You people really think someone could even get in a position to think about running for prez without being a citizen? I'm pretty sure there's plenty of feds that made sure this dude's legit.

I wouldn't show my birth certificate to people, there's no reason to.
Identity theft! :D

There's a thing called public records. Google it sometime.

The media loves stiring up stuff, such as making some thing so little sound huge and make a big deal out of it.

I agree, they overexaggerate a lot.

All Republicans can do when Democrats have the majority in congress and a democratic leader in the white house is try to make them look bad. Really, they have almost no say in what is going on right now, they can just keep throwing stuff until it sticks, if that makes sense.

Ah yes, the conservative agenda, full of "My country tis of thee" bullstuff.  In the way that they always blast liberals, pull the same trick of the birth certificate.

I'm not liberal or conservative, I don't like obama, but I didn't like mccain either, that's why I'm not voting when I reach 18 in a few years here.

A President must be born in the US, be at least 35, and be a resident of the US for at least 14 years. If they are not born in the US, they can still be considered natural born citizens if either or both parents are citizens of the United States.

Quote
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

According to US code Title 8, Chapter 12, Subchapter III, Part I, Sections 1401-1409 (http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode08/usc_sup_01_8_10_12_20_III_30_I.html), a person born in the US, Puerto Rico, Panama, Alaska, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, or Guam are natural born citizens, or, if not born in the US, if one or both parents at the time of birth are US citizens, the person is a natural born US citizen, and is therefore eligible to be President.
