Author Topic: Transparent Textures in torque constructor  (Read 1699 times)

How do you get these to work? All the transparent glass textures I use all turn out opaque. Do I need like a seperate dts or something?

You'd set up a transparency flag in the material definition, and apply it to a texture with an alpha chanel thats used on the dif

Should i just use a DTS? :/

And if yes, how do I know the dimensions convertion between blender and torque constructor?

The .map exporter for blender requires everything to be made of cubes and cylinders that are all non attached no extruding, and the exporter converts the size for you. Wait why would you export a dts to constructor?

I just thought I should use a DTS because im not sure what your talking about (I dont see where to set the flag at(You also copied and pasted that from google :/)) and I see that GSF uses them for his glass in GSF Paradise and Badspot uses them in bedroom.

(You also copied and pasted that from google :/))
It's true though :cookieMonster:

Interiors in Blockland don't support transparent textures. You can't have them.

How did Badspot do the windows in Kitchen?

They are static shapes separate from the interior.

You're right, I must of never noticed because the null dots view distance is really small.
