Author Topic: Sixaxis controller and Blockland?  (Read 1970 times)

Recently I've got one of my PS3's sixaxis controllers to work with my laptop. Now I'm wondering how, or even if it's possible, to get it to work with Blockland. I know building will be difficult. But I don't care. I don't plan to use it for building at all, just for death matches and such.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. <3

Not possible unless badspot decides to get Sixax. support for Blockland.

:c

Does the laptop have Bluetooth?

Does the laptop have Bluetooth?

No, but I use it while plugged in with the USB cable.

Tried it with my Wired xbox controller a while ago, I couldn't get it.

I ran into someone a while ago boasting they were using an Xbox control in BL. I figure you can do it with either of them. Just I can't get BL to recognize it or whatever.

You would need software to convert the sixaxis signals into mouse movements.

have fun trying to point at people with a joystick. while they are all owning you with the superior mouse.

the gamepad wasn't meant as a step up in the video game industry, like new technology or something. it was the easiest option for home consoles, to emulate arcades.
but kids these days think its the best way to play a game lol...

I at no point said gamepads were better then a mouse. I just find it more comfortable using them.

Mouses are great for fps, but they don't work well with flying games.

That just charges it.  You need it connected via bluetooth.  Xbox control needs special drivers.

Wait if you got mac i know how if its a USB
Just search Game pad companion
Then set the controls with it
Then set your controls on blockland to the controls you set the controller

GRAAAAAHHHHHHHH.  See Apple? This is what you're doing.

The controller connects with BLUETOOTH.  Even when it's charging on the usb-mini usb cable.  I've tried it before, I pressed the PS button, it turned on my PS3, so there you go!
