My loadout:

Chainsaw
Car
Lots of duct-tape

Tape the chainsaw to car, and you've got yourself a loud, dangerous death-machine on wheels.

One chainsaw on the front of a car?

That's loving handicapped.

Lets point and laugh when he crashs and then explodes!

Ok, I'll do a realistic list.
  • Hunting knife
  • First aid kit
  • Provisions
  • Bedroll
  • Flint and steel striker
  • Utility tool
  • Clothes - enough to change every now and then
  • GPS
  • AM/FM radio, or a ham radio
  • 9mm pistol or rifle, with about 200 rounds of ammo.  Mainly this would be used for other survivors who might try to steal my supplies, not for the zombies.  Possibly for hunting food.
  • Crowbar, for breaking into abandoned buildings to hide in
  • Machete, for thick underbrush or other obstacles

I think that's a pretty reasonable supply to survive with.  The loadout wouldn't be more than 40 pounds, so it wouldn't be exhausting to carry.

Point taken...

But I still think you did yourself an injustice by not getting out of California while you still had the chance.

Edit: Have you found a good place to get trench spikes, I still haven't found any.

Edit2: On another note, Max Brooks only covers how to deal with the Solanum virus originating zombies, if there are other strains of the Zombification virus that act in different manners than Solanum, it might be possible that the viral core will be located elsewhere besides the brain (most likely on the spine or connected to the brain with a tap-root like structure).
:3 But I like Los Angeles

I wish. I think I'll just make a trench spike myself.

I don't think he mentioned any other caused of spreading except for Solanum. That is the actual "virus" that causes people to become what people call "zombies".

GPS would be useless once the satellites drift out and you lose power for good. Paper map FTW.

New one:

SPAS-12 = The firing range a mile from me (In the zombie invasion, the mi;atary leaves stuff and teh guns are still at teh range.)
Baseball Bat.= I have a wooden one! :cookieMonster:
MedKit=In cars. (Plus my dads one :P)
Pain Killers= CVS or Target (The L4D pain pills were coloured after targets Ibufprofen)
And a lotta Dr.Pepper.

My list:

  • 4ft Wooden Stick - Melee
  • 1ft Ginzu Knife - Close up Melee
  • Thumb Tacks - Drop for essential spike trap
  • Nail Gun - Ranged Weapon
  • Staple Gun - Ranged Weapon
  • Cereal - Food
  • 32ft Rope - A tool with many uses
  • Crowbar - Might need it to open doors, and good for melee
  • Backpack - Storing stuff
  • Fanny Pack - Storing Ammo
  • Family Car - Transportation (Yes, I can drive)
  • Cell Phone - Communication before towers go out
  • Anti-Bacterial Soap - Good to use at the end of the day
  • Aresol Can & Extended Lighter - Flamethrower

I've got all of this stuff at my house. I hope to pick up better things as the invation proceeds.

Dude you fail at quoting.

Dude you fail at quoting.
Yep, totally, I mean I just messed up your list! I must fail at quoting!

Well if it has to be stuff thats around my house
  • Crowbar
  • Warm Jacket, in case the apocalypse continues on into winter.
  • My stainless steel 16" dagger
  • A manual generator(Manual as in, i make the power)
  • My iPod Nano, so i don't go insane from the moans.
  • Binoculars
  • Hammer + Nails
  • Wood
  • My pure stainless steel staff, which i am trained in.
  • A manually powered flashlight(The kind with the handle you spin to make light)
  • A longboard, cars run out of gas, motorbikes run out of electricity, bicycles may seem like the best, but they require a lot more energy then a longboard, and i can bitchslap the zombies with it if the need occurs.
  • Few gallons of clean water
  • My grandpa's old bulletproof armor, its a full sleeve so it protects against bites.
  • Extra pair of sneakers, just in case
  • Backpack to carry all this stuff
  • My collection of weapons, for self defense
  • I good hat.
  • Rope
  • Sleeping bag
  • My dad's .22 Cal Rifle and Handgun
  • .22 Cal ammo
  • Lots of books, that much time alone is bad for the mine.
  • Couple cans of AXE Body Spray and a few Zippo Lighters, flamethrowers are good.
  • Spare clothes, just in case
  • My family
  • Longboard spare parts and repair tools

Sleeping bag
Water
Jacket
Flame thrower
Grenades.
Grappling hook
And my 50.
And a swordvan
