We all love it. But no one has completely figured out what its about. Why do we sleep? Why do we love it. What goes on in your head while sleep. Why does Morning instantly come?

Whats your thoughts about sleep.


I belive, when you sleep, a part of your brain shuts down, preferibly the part that controls your sence of time. Along with Basic thought except breathing. The part of your brain that enables you to see pictures and sound in your head would work a little harder to enable dreams. If it works to hard, you get a "deep sleep" dream, which is that "Falling with butterflies in your stomach" feeling you get.

What causes a dream to be random could possibly be based on your mood and emotions.

I stayed up until 5 last night.  My parents had already woken up by the time I went to bed :D

I couldnt sleep last night. I've been up since 4 am GMT =/ Im not even tired

I think when I sleep, I would ussualy just close my eyeps the wake up.
Sometimes, my dreams would allow me to see the future and Menen pretty much said my idea about sleeping

until noon.  But then I was too lazy to get up again so I just went back to sleep until 2:30.

Last night i had a dream
I was like at some lake
And i was doing soemthing about coi
and then we got giant gold fish
tthen in the middle of the lake some sea serpent thing came out that was supposed to be an eel
and it went towards the shore and we tried to escape but i couldnt do anything besides crawl
and it was coming and scary and wah

apparently you live longer if you get about 4-8 hours snore

you can only remember a dream if you wake up in the middle of it or towards the end apparently. cause most of us dream around 4 times a night on average...and healthy nights sleep is supposed to be deep and at least for 8 hours

When you sleep your brain takes that chance to organize the day's, or past few days' events, and that partially explains why we have dreams.  If you don't sleep enough, you should find it harder to think and focus due to the fact that the brain could not organize recent events, get rid of what it doesn't need, and store other things as memories.  If you don't sleep, think of it as when you have too much unneeded stuff on your computer and never take the time to clean things up.  Of course, that's only what we know, and sleep still is a large research focus.

I thought we sleep so our body can heal our lungs from the oxygen because it oxidizes us or some stuff. I could be wrong.
