Author Topic: Necromancy Skills - RTB3 now promotes necromancy  (Read 5880 times)

With the handy dandy GUI downloader, the users of RTB can now be necromancers.
There are many things these necromancers can do.

Explode their own body upon dying is the first thing on this list. There is more to come.

(This is mostly to test the limits of the GUI Downloader)

Clarifications:
-This isn't only going to be based around a GUI.
-There's going to be more than exploding your own dead body.

However I cannot go into detail without knowing what I'm going to do myself.

Ideas:
Exploding your own body if you're dead.
Exploding other nearby bodies.
Bringing dead players back as AI zombies.
Spawning ancient skeletons from generally anywhere, though they are very fragile and much weaker than zombies.
Your ideas.

Awesome! Released with beta?

Just to note, this is not a part of RTB - just something that uses it.

I want something that lets be manipulate objects in a GUI :(

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. Next question: Avalible for download?

Be able to make the zombies and skeletons dance.

@Thorax, probably sometime near RTB3's release I'd guess.

I can help as an extremely unreliable scripter.

bone wall, wand that controlls zombies (when it fires, if it is a player, zombies attack it, otherwise they just move there, and right click to make the zombies return to following you)
I plan on not having any weapons/tools or anything that you hold in your hand. No wand will be needed.

I can help as an extremely unreliable scripter.
Two extremely unreliable scripters don't go well together.

whatever happens, i hope its epic.  time for necromancing :D.

I can feel the deathly powers you young necromancers will bring across Blockland already. :D

I can tell you how to do it and do small things.

Oh wow, you can tell Chrono how to do small things, that would be so useful if he didn't already know how to do small things.

(sinister laughing)
chrono, do you need beta testers?  because i would be willing.

Do you have the RTB3 beta, pocketrocket300?
