Author Topic: Shortcut and a 2nd example to "Age: N/A"  (Read 4498 times)

Wait, so what if a guy simply didn't want anyone to know his age, for privacy reasons?  He's a troll, now?

Hasty generalizations are hasty.
Because if you give you age on the internet, we already know where you live.
I am an impartial judge and I can tell you if someone is stupid.
Self absorbed :3

No edit: Fixed.

And BTW kids. Here is the REAL definition of "lag"
Lag has no definition. It is a slang term that online
gamers have been using since the early days of online
gaming to represent anything ‘funky’ going on in an
online game. Today, anything bad that happens in an
online game is called Lag.

Webster’s defines Lag as “v.
to fail to keep up a pace;
straggle,” but this definition
does not explain the
phenomenon previously
described. Lag could be loosely defined today as
everything bad that happens in an online game. It’s
become like an online curse word.

LAG has to do with..
• Server Slowness/Congestion
• Internet Packet Loss/Spikes
• Network Latency

LAG doesn't have to do with..
• Client Slowness

LAG is the slow speed of communication between a server and it's client.
NOT your computer's processing power.
BTW: Lag was a word before computers, roostermeat. Like, to lag behind.

Also: Beekay was Trigun you silly motherforgeter

You are missing the point.  What if someone doesn't want everyone to know he's 45, or 13, or even 21 for all that matter?  You can't just assume their reason for wanting total privacy is based on location only.

It also sure does help when you are trying to tell apart the Johns that live on Elk Street.  One lives by himself and the other with his parents.

I don't like Shortcut.

I don't really agree on the age thing 100%.

But on the topic of Shortcut, agreed, from what i've seen out of him he is an starfish.

This is the reason I dont want to give my location and age to you Mtn, you could be a loving rapist for all I care.

No.
The reason why people your age don't like giving their age away on a internet forum is because of the possible "Humiliation" for being such age.
This is Blockland. I would have my age up even if i was 5.

Although, when i was 5.. I couldn't use a computer.

Anyways, I don't suggest taking this topic as a "SERIOUS" attack from me.
I have just witnessed this too many times, and i needed to let all of my rage/crying out.

That didn't even make sense.

If you didn't care you wouldent worry about posting your age.

The topic reminded me that I never filled in my age OR location to my profile....Imma do that now.

No.

Quit using that sentence when I've already shown it to be idiotic.

Displaying your age shouldn't be a matter of privacy on a forum mostly comprised of children.

It's members are, yes, but not active members.  If you look, quite a bit of the members that actually contribute around here are not children.
