Posting as a proxy for somebody else who is banned is a handicapped thing to do. When somebody is banned, the community probably doesn't care/want to hear what that person has to say. Jirue ignored this bit of common knowledge and proceeded to use his account to deliver Woodland Creature's mesage that "badspot is a cunt". He was fully capable of forgetting the whole thing, but he delivered woodland creature's message, both putting his word behind woodland's and making a statement that a known starfish should be allowed to communicate his thoughts to this community freely. I don't believe he should be banned forever for something such as this, but doing something like that shouldn't go unpunished.
tl;dr: banbanbanbanban, but not forever.
