I'm going to start off by saying; THIS IS A GENERAL GUIDELINE. Because every server has a different host and thus fairly different rules, there are good chances some of these may or may not come into play, even some chances they will all be ignored completely (If so, you should probably ignore that server).
DO'S
With The Community
1. Do be nice and respectful.More people will like you and prefer to be around you. Whether or not they are friends is up to you, but they will definitely not be enemies, and you can get along with them too.
2. Do try not to be an obscene asswipe.Not only will 8 year olds bash and OOOOHH at you, but it gives you a more mature image. Unless you can REALLY think of no other way to express your thoughts, try not to swear.
With Your Building/Eventing
1. Do try and conserve brick count.Unless you're going for classic brick masonry, try and use the best and largest bricks possible (Stop with the goddamn 1x1x5s), unless for aesthetic purposes.
2. Do try not to use too many relays.Enough relayed events can lag and even crash a low quality server. And if they spawn projectiles, sounds, or explosions, don't even MAKE them, since that's just flat-out event spam.
3. Do try and make appealing things.If your build is a big blob of bricks bathed in black, purple, and rainbow paint with some glowing blue things here and there, no one will want to look at it. Modern art does not exist here, so don't try and use that as an excuse. It's just spam, don't.
With Your Adminship
1. Do try and be forgiving.Give people 2 or three chances before kicking them or banning them if they screw up, unless it's obvious they aren't going to stop.
2. Do kill off spam.If something is just a brick with a weapon spawn, or a giant tower of 1x1s, just wand it, making sure to check who's it is first. And if you suspect a brick is carrying out event spam, wrench it and check the events first.

With The Community
1. Don't be an ass.If you're day on BL is spent yelling at people people in red caps about what idiots they are, a good idea would be shut up, since you are an idiot, of whom no one is going to like.
2. Don't scream "forget YOU JEW" at everyone who even slightly peeves you.For starters, Jew is not an insult, nor shall it ever be. The annoying 13 year old who started this needs to be belted. You being an immature jackass is not going to help AT ALL anywhere, anytime, anyhow.
With Your Building/Eventing
1. Don't spam. Period.If you're build a giant 1x1 tower, or the walls are made entirely from 1x1x5s or print bricks, just kill it. It's nothing but spam.
2. Don't overdo it with relays.When your build is making people lag from the millions of nukes it launching, a good idea would be to stop the events.
3. Don't make hideous blobs.If your build is a big blob of bricks bathed in black, purple, and rainbow paint with some glowing blue things here and there, no one will want to look at it. Modern art does not exist here, so don't try and use that as an excuse. It's just spam, don't.
With Your Adminship.
1. Don't smash people with a ban immediately for making a vehicle spawn.That's called being a badmin starfish. Just delete it and tell them not to do that.
2. Don't ignore everything.If it's a problem, it's a problem. You have to deal with it, otherwise you're really just a pusillanimous individual.
DONACHUNS
Regulith:
Do not ask how long the load is. It varies depending on the speed of your internet/computer (?), how many add-ons you have, and probably some other things to the point that it is impossible to estimate how long it will be. Just be patient, talk with the people who are in the server, and possibly go make a sandwich while you wait.
Do know the difference between an RPG server and an RP server. RPG's generally use variables and are pre-built. RP's generally require you to build, often a house as done in the infamous CityRP. Don't go into an RPG server and immediately say "^helpjobs".
Do use servers for what they were created for. Do not go into a building server, spawn a weapon and a vehicle, and then decide to drive around shooting people as they build. It's very annoying. (This also goes along with what Fjeld said about going into an app server and asking to be someone's dog.)

Heed:
Do have a creative username. More people listen to the guy named Lanet then the guy named sonicdude2434124.
Do use grammar. It makes you look more mature and less of an idiot. Refrain from using words such as "rofl, lmao, wat, plz, thx, u, r, y" and such.
DON'T ask for admin. If you ask, you can guarantee yourself that you will never get it.

Do listen to the admins in a server. If they tell you do do something, it's for a good reason, unless they're a badmin.
Do If you have to go afk for a bit for something, tell people so they don't just randomly kill you.
