well i dont get it alll it loooks wierd so i want to start with basics

Those have the damn basics in them, if you're going to stop every time something looks "weird" or "confusing" you will never become a competent scripter.

Maybe he needs to learn the very very very simplistic style of programming first...

Or maybe you should stop trying to bash people and let this topic die. The "A Great Torque Functions Guide" sticky's .pdf file explains the basics and syntax all the way to intelligent AI coding. I can't think of anything you'd need to learn to get the hang of torquescript that's not in there.
