Author Topic: adding colors in blender  (Read 838 times)

Is it possible to go to the texture menu and change the color (rgb) to red or else, and don't use the red.png?
Will the color show up ingame?

i dont really get it.......

i dont really get it.......

in blender, if you add a new Material to your model, and you go to the texture menu [F5]
then down in the material tab you see four boxes underneath eachother, saying R, G, B and A
you can set them from 0 to 1000 to change the color of the texture

if you do that on your model, and then export it, will the colors show up ingame?

The way you're thinking, no. You have to use image files.

What you can do is get the RGB color from blender and use that in paint.net to create and exact PNG replica of the material.
