Time for me to rant about another movie, today's is Ponyo... Well i had hoped it wouldn't happen but disney is taking a shot at anime. i guess it looks like an OK movie but using Frankie Jonas and Noah Cyrus just seems like a big publicity thing to me... discuss :D

Eh, I wouldn't see it. Looks kind of strange, and a little too kid-ish for me. Disney needs to stick to what they used to do. sadly, they don't.

Anyway, they aren't actually animating from the looks of it, just localizing it for an English speaking market.

Although if it's by the guy who did Spirited Away, I might see it.  Spirited Away was loving amazing, and I'm not really into anime.

Isn't Disney also coming out with a movie about the frog prince? That's the kind of stuff they need to be doing, not the other stupid stuff they've been up to lately (not including this, it actually looks decent).
