Anxiety Disorders in Children and Adolescents

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Generalized anxiety disorder usually affects children between the ages of six and eleven. It is characterized by excessive worry and anxiety over a variety of things, including, but not limited to:

    * Grades
    * Performance in sports
    * Punctuality
    * Family issues
    * Earthquakes
    * Health

The affected child cannot control his/her worry and it interferes with normal activities. Physical symptoms of GAD include:

    * Restlessness
    * Fatigue/Inability to sleep
    * Difficulty concentrating
    * Irritability
    * Muscle tension

Children with GAD tend to be very hard on themselves, striving for perfection, sometimes redoing tasks repeatedly. They may also seek constant approval or reassurance from others.

Copy and paste diseases are copy and paste. This could fit any damn kid there is. Especially in these times. Divorce rates are up, economy has gone to stuff, war, and a number of other things are all happening at once. What doesn't a kid have to be worried about?

Sounds like a generalized description of OCD for children.
Though things like OCD, ADD, and restless leg syndrome are a load of crap and possibly fit in with personalities and/or lifestyles.

The letter Z has sharp edges. It can cut or hurt kids. Parents are going to be worried that their kids might be hurt or killed from it. Besides, insults can be made out of any word or phrase.
