Author Topic: Is it ok to be virgin for life?  (Read 16724 times)

Well yeah thats bi-curious. Apparently its real common for people to experiment with same-love people, especially girls. I know a bunch of my friends have admitted they've experimented at some point.

But experimenting usually ends at that.  If you have to try it out to see if you like the same gender, chances are you do not.

It can be either spelling. Thanks for contributing to the discussion though.

Actually, it can't. His name is Sigmund Freud, it doesn't change in other languages. Mind showing me where he's called "Froid"?

Does it matter?  You still knew who he was.

Yes, it does, considering he won't man up to a mistake no matter how much he's proven wrong. I've caught him in an error and he simply isn't going to admit it because he can't. I win.
now he's going to post he made a mistake because i said this

Oh, look at that, you've managed to one-up Ephialtes.  He's still a better person than you, because he did not submit to said one-upping.  Congratulations, you are an ass.

The error was simply caused by a lack of German pronunciation knowledge.

He implied to have actually read what he was describing (if he didn't, it wasn't valid to say anyway). You think he couldn't spell the author's name even though he "read" it? It really is fairly simple. I don't believe he knows what the forget he's talking about and just gathered stuff from wikipedia. But that's just me.
I'm off before this turns into a stuffstorm with a paragraph long reply from Ephialtes because he can't take the blow to the ego.

Hey, I took Psychology for 2 years and we always spelled it Froid. Maybe it's different in the UK - either way it's really no big deal and it's kind of pathetic that you have to disrupt an interesting discussion to try and score points. If you google Sigmund Froid you'll find lots of people spell it like that too.

He claimed to have actually read what he was describing. You think he couldn't spell the author's name even though he "read" it?
Maybe the book was a translation, and done poorly.
Either way, you did not need to call him out on that.  Just because your username is German does not make you an authority on Germans and the language.
Besides, he was born in Austria-Hungary, which only allied with Germany, and never became a part of it.  Even though the pan nationalism there was strong, German developed many dialects due to a cultural mix, therefore, "Froid" may be correct.

And FYI: Wiki spells it your way.

Yeah, let's get back on topic, and just ignore the posts by this guy.

People that are ashamed of themselves for a decision they've made often blame on their friends.

Just letting you know since I am also taking Psychology.
