I'm sure you have a good reason to "hate" my maps, instead of disliking them.support.
Because your maps take away the entire point of the game: building.
Then they often fill up the servers and people can build in your buildings boxes and brag about the pile of stuff they've made.

I reiterate when I say that they're also full of bugs (Relating to the final point in this list), errors (Non-rendered faces, materials not lining up, brushes not lining up, leaks), and amateur mapping attempts like multiple levels of water using Torque's water level entity rather than a physical zone.

Ghost, you really shouldn't say someone can't hate your maps, only "dislike" them.

"That's because I brought it up so people would stop asking for requests in terms of maps, add-ons, etc."

Why would you care if you're leaving anyway? How can they harass someone who's not here with requests?

Also, I would like to point out that everyone craves attention. Jimmg, Ghost, and everybody else in this thread, including me. Attention whoring is a fairly loose term, and it's an issue of intense debate apparently.

I'm pretty neutral about this whole thing.

1] Hating maps shows emotion is involved in their decision. You don't make good decisions by letting emotion rule your decisions.
2] I care because I am still playing the game.
3] I already stated I don't want the attention, but y'all insist on stating that I do. All I want to do is make content with the hope that people like them. That's the reason I've been here for four years and hardly play the game.

Who cares, are they fun? The majority of people think so, and that's what I wanted to accomplish. And my maps push the engine and my map making software, of course there are going to be bugs.

The entire point of the game is to have fun. And unless I'm mistaken, you can do other things in Blockland besides building. DMs, Freebuilds, Zombie Games, Races, etc.

Map to big and full

I would personally relate GSF's maps to Garry's Mod maps. While plenty of building could be done in Garry's Mod, there's also a lot of purpose in remade building. You still get to place your couch and whatnot, but you don't build the buildings. I don't like that, that's not my thing, but in concept I can see why people might enjoy his maps, and that's for the same reason others might in Garry's Mod.
But in reality, in execution, his maps aren't very well made. Still, I can understand why people might enjoy them, and I don't think it's worth arguing. It's my opinion that they're bad, and it's many others' opinions that they're good. I don't think the point is worth arguing.

If he said "Im leaving" to get attention.

Then he wouldn't be in this topic trying to defend him self.
Jimmg had to start this topic. Im starting to hate him quite a bit.

Anyways, GSF Ghost is a great map maker. Regardless if you don't like to build in his maps. They are still great. And i doubt anyone in this thread has the artistic ability to pull off what he has done.

Oh my, I accidently mistook the quote button as a modify button, please disregard that.

Easy, make terrain, add interior shapes into extreme detail, add block-textures/advertisement textures, paint and bam. Not in correct order.

Just add the "add every building in NYC and vice cities" part.

Lol it's alright. I figured that :D

Also, on a second note.

I agree. GSF's maps aren't the best for building.
But, they are good for other things. Like hanging out, making simple builds and event contraptions.

Its just a good map. It might have fit better in a different game.
Anyways, His mapping abilities are wonderful. He just needs to make maps that people enjoy building on.

Stop flaming him. It's not making anyone happy.
There is no legitimate reason for throwing stones at him. He made these for your enjoyment. Now just shut up.

His GSF Blue Prints map was a good building map.

But still, I don't see the drama in this.

That's your opinion, there is no objectivity to base this on. The very fact that a good majority of people like my maps is fine with me. Even so, this has turned into a hate thread, it's gone off in a tangent from the issue.

Jimmg posted this after we settled the issue. It's clear what is going on, he wants his way. If he was really upset about the issue, and wasn't seeking reinforcement for his pride, he would have PMed me about it or kept it in my topic. This thread is unnecessary.

If it annoys you, just tell me in a PM or in my topic and I'll stop. I heard Jimmg complain in my topic, and I backed off. But, remember that I can't stop other people from bringing it up.

MtnDew has a point. I don't remember y'all joining my test servers and giving me feedback on the maps or add-ons; that was your chance to voice your opinion. Even if you did, I go with what the majority wants. If you don't like them fine, but if you persecute me for it, then there's something wrong with you.

Yeah this thread isn't necessary.

He's quitting Blockland too.
Joy.:cookieMonster:
Some one convince me Jimmg isn't doing this with emotion involved. Because if he is then he has no basis for this thread. It seems to me Jimmg is doing this because he didn't get his way.

I like your house map,

and blue hell is neat.

Please don't ragequit
