Try using Microcsoft FrontPage, it's really easy and that text thing can be easily fixed. :P

I am pretty sure that the code highlighted needs to be all in the head...
Also, for the text issue, I would lay down a table to constrain your text. You should change your font size too, and maybe even the background image.
