I take it your a huuuge fan, right?

Butthurt about furries?

Nice. I bet in 2100 these will be native in Africa.

His left leg is longer than his right
His left leg is extended while his right leg is contracted, and the angle of the right leg gives the illusion that it's shorter, when in reality they're the same size.

3: Lines should be much thinner. Keeping lines one constant thickness gives it a feeling of sloppiness usually, and to top it off, they are awfully thick for the size the picture is. Try not using the same constant thickness and it may help.
The image was originally much smaller, I just resized it so that It would be easier to see. Also, as I said before, I was using a marker, and personally I find it dificult to not make the lines all one size when using a sharpie.

Who gives a stuff if somebody is a furry fan or not..
A lot of people. Just look around, especially at my other anthro drawings in creativity.

Just post the damn drawing, don't make a big statement or disclaimer.
I was trying to avoid causing the usual chain of events to occur. It usually goes like this;
1) I post an anthro drawing
2) Some guy comes on and says something along the lines of "FU YOU'RE A FURRY!"
3) People come to my defense and say something along the lines of "Chill man, who cares?"
4) Guy from No. 2 comes back and gives some speech about how furries suck and should die
5) War
6) Badspot moves this thread to Drama

You could either keep making excuses, or listen to the people that are telling you about things that look odd. Yeah I guess because you used marker to draw that's understandable (then again, you could also chose a different tool, or draw larger to allow different thicknesses).

What I'm talking about is trying to make a story as to why the leg is the way it is. The eye does not lie, and especially in other people's eyes, will it be more noticeable that something is wrong. If you can't see them yourself, use a mirror and hold your drawing up in it as you draw it. This is eye training and lets you see mistakes.

The legs look wrong because basic perspective rules were either neglected or not known.

The arms simply just look like you forgot to pay attention when you drew them, and thus caused it to get thicker than the other one.

Arms and legs can be tricky, and you have to keep in mind the basic perspective rule when making them or they will never look right. Away from camera, smaller things get, towards camera, larger things get. The more its pointed directly towards or away from camera, the greater the ratio gets of small-large from one end to the other. Ignore this rule, and things will not look right.

So please, take the advice and try not to make excuses. I don't blame you, but I know my eyes and other people's do not lie. Its much easier for others to see your mistakes, and the important part is if you are willing to listen and accept the fact that it is possible they may be correct. Normally I would not have been this in-depth, but you seem to need it because you are denying the mistakes clearly visible by other people.

Good luck and I hope you take this into consideration. I'm not trying to say you suck or anything, just trying to help. We all have trouble as artists, and I myself am still guilty of many mistakes, but I try my best not to make excuses when those mistakes are confronted.

Oh, and also, judging by your recent post with the usual "scenario" of what happens when you post an anthro here, it seems to me that if it really is that bad, then maybe its just people in general that sucks, which I myself hate, because most of them will never learn or appreciate anything that is not within their realm of enjoyment.

You forgot #6; Badspot moves this thread to drama.

Thanks, I fixed it. Anyways, comments about the drawing and not just the furry please.

I like the way you positioned it. =]

9/10

Looks awsome. Needs more color tho.

StarHawk, you are clearly trying too hard to defend yourself before you are even attacked. It makes you look insecure.
To be honest, it makes you more prone to be insulted. Keep that in mind.

So I just skimmed through the topic, and laughed at how seriously this furry stuff is still being taken.

Aside from that, nice drawing, Star.

ALSO: if you don't want people to bitch you out about being a furry, then don't post your stuff AT ALL.  The fact that you're posting it in general gives these anti-furries every reason to attack you.  The slight procussions don't do stuff.

Either way It still looks pretty cool

I've been attacked in the past. I just wanted to clear up a mess that I made back a few months ago.

Um, thanks, I think...

Inorite?

I know that some people like to see my work, I've gotten PM's from people saying that they want to see my art.

You aren't fixing the problem. The best way to solve it is to turn the other cheek.
