THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING!

Our humble minifig brick is evolving.  He now comes standard with arms and a mid section.

Trader, this is awesome, you're doing great. I can't wait until you finish.

Will it be a default brick?

No.  Basically, this minifig brick is actually serving as a test case for a model-to-brick conversion program I am developing in Python.  I've tested my converter on several less complex bricks (like the 2x2 ramp) and I converted that sphere / orb model that Kaje whipped up for me into a brick as well.  I wanted something that was more of a challenge and I decided to make a brick out of the minifig.  Now, since the minifig model wasn't designed with my converter in mind, it takes a little time to adapt the model to the conversion process.  That's what I'm doing now.

Up next, hands and shoes.

Wow.

What will be the deal with the face and body decal? Changeable? Default? None?

I have some ideas in mind.  You'll have to wait and see.

Hooray for ideas, but sad face for the fact that things have to be worked on before they're done. :(

Well, our favorite minifig brick has sprouted a pair of shoes.  He's still lacking hands, but those can wait until tomorrow.  I'm off to bed.
