No doubt there will be a similar public outcry followed by some sort of Frankenstinian mob formation when my idea of a trusted person does not correlate with yours.

I'm not here to do as the mob bids, My aim is to produce some quality bricks for people to make better builds with and I'll decide how I go about achieving that - if it means giving out the exporter to "trusted people" then fine, I just don't see it as being necessary.

In my personal opinion the exporter should not be realeased to anyone but the creators. Making BLBs is currently confusing for little kiddies who are likely to release stuffty bricks. Sure there would be people who could make good bricks, but the amount of stuffty bricks will outweigh the good bricks.

What's happening here is that you guys are creating your own limitations which you'll later complain about. I'm not stopping anyone making BLBs, if you understand the system (or even if you don't) then go apestuff and make a bunch of bricks. I'm just not giving out the tool we use to make ours, we're under no obligation to and it doesn't prevent anyone making their own. I don't intend to moderate or manage any brick submissions (apart from those submitted to RTB), We're just making bricks and that's it.
