My schhool starts September 9, but this the first year i'm actually glad to be going into a new school year.  The school i used to go to was about going green and stuff.  Every morning during the announcements there'd be a "going green" tip. And the princepal there was terrible.

For the last day of summer I usually get all my friends and bike to target, buy stuff, get kicked out for racing carts down the isle.
Then I go to a friends house and have a toast to the last day of summer while burning a dancing elmo doll.
