Author Topic: Stupid costco sample lady  (Read 2058 times)

So I went to Costco the other day with my dad. And they had this cold coffee sample. I took one and the lady says, "WAIT, are you old enough to drink coffee, young man?" Then I of course say, "yes". So then she says, "Okay, I want you to take this cup of coffee to show your parents what you are drinking". So she gives me this big cup of coffee, and what do you think I am going do with it? So I glugged it down :D. Either she's stupid, or she thinks I don't know what coffee is. Discuss.

I don't think there's an age restriction on coffee. :S

There isn't. Some people just have this idiotic notion that coffee is an adult beverage.

They think that children can't appreciate fine beverages? In Italy kids drink wine with their meals. People here in the US are just handicapped.

Italy :D

We Italians know how to have a good time  :cookieMonster:

Im a teenager, and I love coffee.
Good thing my grandma loves coffee too, because she is always making it :D

People here in the US are just handicapped.

You just figured that out? :D

I myself aren't that big of a fan of coffee, tastes like burnt wood.

I heard that somewhere has some law that if you are under 13 you can't have caffine. It's probably BS but it might be the same source she had.

That's probably because parents don't want their kids up all night because of the caffeine. So some don't want them to have coffee.

It was the sample girls perception of age or maturity that was really screwed up.

I loving LOVE BURNT WOOD.

Hickorey smoked jerky. :D
(I prefer maple but still gets my point across)

It is. Anyone under the age of 13 wouldn't be able to have chocolate or most soda.

Chocolate has so little caffeine it almost doesn't make a difference.

Still, if it's illegal to have caffeine, wouldn't it be banned?

But whatever, it's not, so more caffeine for me! :D
