Author Topic: The Science behind drama.  (Read 1995 times)

Here are the three different type of drama topics.

Attention
Let's take a topic for example..
How about Jimmg's topic about GSF Ghost.

http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=79044.0

Just by reading through his comments. You can conclude the following..
Jimmg is seeking attention.

And as I've said before
Quote
People get angry because of their Ego (in the psychological sense). As children we are very self centerd, and we can only survive if we are the center of attention. Thus one of the first survival forces is driving us to be noticed.

Rage
One of the most abundant kinds of topics.
When people get banned, threatened.. Etc.

Let's take a example topic..

That one is a great example. Because it includes ID racism.
From reading that topic. You can tell that he made his topic during the "Immediate" phase of rage.
We will be discussing the phases of rage further on.

This shows how people can take action. Which later on maybe regretted.

Sympathy
One of my favorte types of topics.

Its a muk of things. Because its between rage and attention topics.
Sometimes people just make these because their bored.

Here is a example. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=79374.0
Not the best one, but it gets the point across.

Phases of Rage

Immediate Phase
Usually right after the event has occurred. It blurs your thoughts. And usually cuts off your ability to judge situations.

Battle Phase
Usually a phase that 'forces' people to bicker amongst them selfs. This includes off topic subjects within a drama topic.

Post Battle Phase
Right after your done fighting. And you think you've won.
You get roostery, and greedy. Sometimes this can lead to phase 4.

Regretting Phase or Sad Faec Phase
This is usually after the "rager" has clamed down. And starts to realize what he has done.
Starts to plea for forgiveness, Etc. Sometimes can lead to phase 5. Which is in extreme rare cases.

forget YOU MAN forget /rage quit phase
This usually happens when thoughts cloud the person's mind.
They start to step into immediate phase again. Or so it seems.

This usually ends with a violation of the rules. Because you can only go so far.

Also, incase you were wondering. This topic falls under the "Attention" and "Sympathy" topics.
Because Im whoring for attention, AND crying for sympathy.

This made my day.
Oh, Btw. Ill be working more on the train model tonight.

Actually I find this to be rather thorough, partly because of how vauge you make the types, but its an accurate illustration nonetheless.

i call mtnDew the bill nye of blockland ( no not the guy with the username billyne i mean BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY )

( no not the guy with the username billyne i mean BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY )

NO, because that is why it was quoted.

You forgot entertainment.

I should now make a topic about the various forms of "lol".

This topic will be put under the "ironylol" category.

You forgot entertainment.
I haven't done any research in that field.
