I cant edit slate

How come when i try to use the texture editor and paint the ground it wont load??
it worked for every map but slate.

You're editing a flat map. There's your problem. Flatten the slopes and perhaps try from there.

Because Slate doesn't have a ground, it's just a giant invisible interior cube, not a terrain.

already tryed that and there are bumps from the terrain even when its flat and i cant get rid of em

i did and it didn't make mutch sense because then how do people make the ground totally flat and so it doesn't look like a map and your looking down?

The ability to 'paint' a material is only available on terrains, and slate is not a terrain.

I MEAN IT LOOKS LIKE A MAP THAT YOU HOLD IN YOUR HANDS ITS FLAT BUT YOU CAN SEE WERE THE BUMPS ARE
