It was totally unrelated to Roblox (although they will no doubt take credit for it).

It was caused by some kind of hardware/windows failure or something like that.

The forums broke, then when we came back, a friend spammed it.

What's great is that you have to wait something like 40 seconds between posts, so he spent over an hour making his ~50 spam posts which I deleted in about 3 seconds.
