God, you may be may brother, my dad acts the same way he hit me like that once when my best friend was over. you wanna know why? becuase my mom asked him to do the dishes, he didnt want to get off his lazy ass, and he gave the chore to me. isaid i will do it later (i forgot).

So today my sister got mad at me for playing the wii in her room without her permission (Even though it's all of our wii, just in her room) She comes in my room and attacks me with stuff that's lying around. So I give her a small jab to the stomach and she starts crying and tells my dad. He comes raging into my room and starts hitting me telling me that hitting a girl is wrong and how would I like it if I was hit as a girl. I replied, "Dude, I wouldn't care just because she is a different love doesn't mean that she can't be assaulted in any possible way." He became even more mad and yelled at me, "So you think it's good to hit girls? HMM? Hitting girls is good now?" He slaps me across the face and leaves my room. I know have a black eye. :c

I'm partially and the only time my dad beat me was when I deserved it. He didn't go out of control or injure me, per se, however, when he was done tanning my ass, I knew better until I did something else I didn't know was wrong. Kids should be spanked. They should be taught limits and respect. Something that's been lacking no thanks to nosy neighbors and special interest groups who, like PETA, blow everything way out of proportion just to further their own propagandist means.

Dually earned. He decided to smart off instead of explaining the situation to father in the first place. He didn't even need to hit his sister. Just inform the dad that the family wii shouldn't be put in a single kid's room or obvious arguments over it are going to ensue and that sister is being a bit selfish for her behavior and thinks that throwing things at him was a wrong way to deal with their anger. But nope, instead of immediately removing himself from the problem, he complicated it and hit his sister which gave her the leverage she knew she could take advantage of.

tl;dr Let her throw stuff at you, especially as you're leaving her room, show evidence of her tantrum to father, watch her get beat. Then you can call father a hypocrite for hitting a girl.

What? I doubt someone would really want their father out of their life, unless their father was actually hurting them constantly and being an extremely bad influence.
