Author Topic: Random "Lines" when building?  (Read 1088 times)

Alright to clear this, I haven't played on Blockland for a while for the sole purpose, this

I've used search and I couldn't find a post about it, and I'm not going through like 100 pages trying to dig it up.
Stats:
Radeon X1300/X1550 Series
Gateway T3302
1022 MB Ram
AMD Sempron Processor 3300+
Window XP

All my drivers are updated and I've tried reinstalling Blockland...

Crap messed a picture,

Do you mean that when you place bricks there are sometimes lines of that color going off in random directions?

EDIT: Oh, I've seen this before. Pretty sure flushTextureCache(); works, but if it doesn't i have no idea. Sorry.

No luck. :(

My old X1650pro didn't do this.

If radeon is AMD dual core (I think it is) you need to download the patch for it, available at http://blockland.us/downloads

its definetly your PC if flushtexturecache(); doesent work for you, also welcome back Ðænth

you might be because you have built to many bricks :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie:

might help ;)
Thank you, I am trying that now, but one question... will it affects my gaming outside of Blockland such as World of Warcraft, Half Life 2 or any other games like that?
No edit:
Oops wrong link, it's http://blockland.us/index.asp?p=Download
I'm trying expire's solution, but if it came down to this, if my processor is not dual-core will it mess it up? And is there a way to see if it is dual-core?

No it's not because I have too many bricks, I'm certain of that, but thank you for trying to help. :)

Alright, I tested expire's solution and it works, it doesn't affect games outside of Blockland, and it stopped all the graphical issues. I am leaving this topic unlocked in case anyone has any questions. This is for ATI Radeon Series Graphic cards that have the issues I posted above.
If you do not no what you are doing by installing a older version of your graphic driver, I recommend you just don't do it at all.

For the record I somehow accidentally copypasta'd your graphics specs and not the driver link :(

Ah well, you fixed it any way :D
