Uh, you criticized me in a manner trying to make me feel like a handicap when I just asked for some help. I've looked for the solution, and have turned up with nothing. I figured posting here wouldn't be a bad idea since there's certainly some that know more about this sort of thing than I.

Not really, I just wondered why people don't make an effort to search much. But if you're really that hurt by it, oh well.

lol well not all problems. but random crashing and MOST blue screens are usually caused by 2 things.
new installed drivers and/or hardware making issues. or ram gone shot.

however... if that is your bluescreen you got;

STOP 0x0000008e  = faulty ram.
that is end all fact, no other meaning

Generally yeah blue screen most of the time means the possibility of faulty RAM.

I had this problem, and it turned out my 1GB stick of RAM was corrupt and my 6800XT crapped out on me.
