If you mean editor.zip, leave that alone. What are you trying to do?

open it so I can create stuff

Opening it will do nothing. Editor.zip contains a few scripts used for creating maps and GUIs. If you want I can explain how to get that working, but I think you mean scripts. What do you mean, maps or scripts?

Yes i want to create maps. can you explain how to do that to me please?

  • If you don't have a Blockland shortcut on your desktop or elsewhere, make one.
  • Right click on it and select "Properties".
  • There's a text box named "target" on the window that just opened. In it should be something like:
    "C:\Program Files\Blockland\Blockland.exe"
  • Add -mod editor to the end of it, making it:
    "C:\Program Files\Blockland\Blockland.exe" -mod editor
  • Open Blockland as normal. Press F11 while in Single Player (it also works while hosting but it's a bad idea to do this while hosting) to open the Mission Editor. Toy with it until you get the hang of it.
  • You can press F10 to open the GUI Editor which creates/edits GUIs. That's more complex scripting, though, I'd recommend getting the hang of mission editor first.

Can I do this in Demo?

Yes. But buy Blockland. It'll be the best $20 you've ever spent.

I thought he bought the game engine and didn't know how to open it. "How did you make it that far?!"

Post the target in that box. Also, what operating system are you using (Ubuntu/XP/Vista/Mac)?
