I really hate those virus scanners where they pop out of nowhere and tells you that you computer has viruses(even though it doesn't)And keeps asking you to download it. There are even some who tells you that to delete viruses, you must pay for an activation code to delete your viruses.

Discuss how those dman things interfere with you E-Life.

Those "virus scanners" are really the viruses. Check out "Trojan Fake Alert".

My favorite virus protection software is AVAST! because it's free and works well.

use common sense, i don't bother to turn avg on anymore.

Antivirus 2009 got me in 2008

I discovered a rogue site a few hours after it was made. I was looking for graphs and eventually it was rogue'd all over the place in 4 hours.

The cool thing bout these viruses, if you pay for them, and then delete what it says is infected, it highlights important system files!

How do i know this?

My friends mom was dumb enough to do it.

One time, I even saw that the virus scanner said that Blockland had a "worm" in it. >:O

Other times your home page gets hijacked telling you to download some anti virus thing. I hate back doors getting on my pc.

Friends, dads gf did that for AntiVirus 2009.

He's a virus that was being threated to be removed form my sis' computer then.
