I just got FireFox yesterday, love it.
But, I downloaded it without my sisters permission, because we have to share the computer.
She found out, and now she's pissed.
What's a good way to convince her and my mom to keep fireFox over Internet explorer.

Show them that it uses 600% less CPU than IE and is much safer?

I'd imagine looking at the interface for both would be good enough to convince anyone.

I'll do that.
I really want to keep it.

I don't think that would work for my anyoing little sister, but maybe my mom.

You're little sister is too young to be on the computer if she doesn't realize Firefox is much better.

Ask her if she likes popups and ads on the side. If she says "Yes", say "K, then use IE".

If she says "No", install ad blocker addon and show her the love of Firefox the world shares.

Do you like giving web developers money?*

I'd imagine looking at the interface for both would be good enough to convince anyone.
I find the FireFox interface quite ugly.

I find it quite standard. For the new IE it's like Microsoft said, "forget it, let's have them relearn our stuff again".

I haven't been using IE, I wouldn't know. Chrome has 6 buttons.

An interface doesn't necessarily have to look pretty, but be user friendly. Microsoft seems to through that last part out the window a lot. I haven't really used Google Chrome, so I can't comment on it. Usually Google's software has a high quality and tries to meet the needs of the user, so I imagine Chrome is user friendly.

Minimalism is as friendly as it gets. It's a bulletproof design.

Does chrome have something where I don't have to go to another tab to see my downloads?
Also about history?

Also does it have a thing where you can see all the saved passwords? I don't remember there being one.

And do they any different skins/themes? Dark looking ones are nice.
