Author Topic: Are macs good for gaming?  (Read 4514 times)

you stupid mac users are trying to buy him over with the 4-5 games he would like that are actually made for the mac. how irresponsible, even for fanboys.

he clearly wants to be a computer gamer, the choice is clear that he shouldn't be using a mac at all.

And here comes Bisjac, saving the day :3

I would of said what Bisjac just said but in my own way, Mac are worthless. Even the fanboys sit in there rooms shaking telling themselves that the $2000 they wasted on it was worth it.

Mac minis are especially bad for games, integrated graphics blah

It works just as well as any other computer for gaming for me, it just doesn't have as many games as PCs do.
Macs can be great for gaming but yiu will not have as many games as PC

I got a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite. :3
Works fine for me on gaming.
I wish people who had no idea what they were talking about wouldn't talk at all.

Get a new nVidia one then
>:(
Especially you.

For gaming the winner is hands down a Windows desktop. You'll get the best performance for the money you spend on it and have access to virtually every computer game made. Don't get a laptop if you're tight on money, or even if you do have money as you won't see the performance you could get from a desktop on so called gaming laptops.

i hate "gaming laptops" more then anything. for half the price i could build a much more powerful desktop for gaming. and it wont overheat like laptops all loving do when you run them hard.

Laptops get loving toasty when running Blockland, I've never dared play anything more intense than that.

I played TF2 on my 2005 Toshiba and it almost burned my lap.

Cheap, good computers. You would just need to buy your own graphics card.

i once put my laptop on the carpet and blockland crashed ...fail -.-"
other than that time, ive never really had a problem.. and ive had way more intense games than bl.
but yeah, i do need a PC.. laptops just dont cut it sometimes.

Here's  a list of pretty much all the games for Mac. Not the best selection, but I don't really care. I'm a console gamer for the most part.

-I was never here-
