when i record i can go into the blockland folder and i see the recordings EX. 5.rec
but i can play them in blockland anymore HELP!

Use a third-party recording program, like Fraps.

when i do that it makes blockland stop working when i start recording my computers tells me blockland.exe has stoped working!

Then you have an old computer, and you should have someone else record for you.

Demos are broken to begin with, it doesn't matter what is in their computer if it simply does not work.
