Author Topic: HOW DO I FIX?  (Read 1264 times)

So I woke up with this giant, yellow, puss-filled blister this morning. I had a bandaid on it for a few hours, but the pressure it applied soon created unbearable pain. My doctor has told me to go out and buy some Bactroban Cream, and I just applied it. It's pretty much all soaked in in the picture, so that's all puss you're seeing. Should I just take a needle, sterilize it, and pop it?

you found your answer!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IT BURNSSSSSS

Pop it then wrap the area in a sterile bandage.

If it swells ice it.

Put duct tape on it

Just pop it, and put on some cream, and sterile bandage.

And, why is your foot blue?

Yes.
This I understand but do the other post have to just spam the damn topic?

On topic:
Yes, pop it. Best get that stuff out. You might also want to squeeze it out.

@Sax:
It is his and and that is the lighting.

thats what you get when you go to india

You probably shouldn't pop it but i would.   :cookieMonster:

popping blisters is more of an aesthetic choice, or like if you cant walk because of one on your foot somewhere.
your body blisters for a reason, just leave it.
no point in making a minor injury into an open wound just because its annoying.

Problem is, I don't know what caused it. I think it could be that I got a little scrape there from my braces last night, and while sleeping it got infected.

Also, the reason why I'm reluctant to pop it is because I have a phobia of needles.

Best to see someone who is a doctor.

I did. All she said was to apply that cream I mentioned thrice daily for ten days.
