Please tell me what the hell you are watching so I can tune into these illicit activities that are being publicly televised across America and/or the world. If you had complained about the News and their obsession with murder and love crime then I can somewhat understand. However you go on to say they "milk people of their sorrow", pasteurized and served cold.

I'm sorry to say the world revolves around public interest and not yours personally. His death created a whip lash effect to those who adored him and even to those who hated him, generating intense interest in not only his music but his life and death.
These things happen with iconic figures (Not only just with famous people, let's not forget 911 and how the News went haywire on that topic) and I find it absolutely incredible that people like you whine and moan the phrases "He's dead who cares!"

Your complaint on Konami's lack of individual controller is quite simple. MONEY!
The majority of you who will play Konami's game will most likely have already played and own Guitar Hero.
Obviously these companies are working together, I would like think of Konami's game as a hook line and sinker, drawing in interest to the other music simulation games that they can easily just go and buy without having to buy yet another god damn instrument controller.
How can you not deduce such an open statement between these companies? If Konami's game were to be it's own stand alone game they would of course in turn, produce an instrument exclusive to it.
Tl;dr
