Author Topic: The difference between a "Newb" and a "Noob"  (Read 1613 times)

A "Noob" is an Illiterate Moron that refuses to suck at a game. even though hes already personally good at it. This word is also, in my opinion "Offensive"

A "Newb" Is somebody that is new to the game. but otherwise is quite okay.

There is a HUGE Difference. this is the same as the people that think "RPG and RP" are the same. Cause they aren't.

EDIT: "Newb" is an Abbreviation for "Newbie."

God, finally someone posts the meanings.

Just like Inflammable and Flammable mean...totally....different.. .things...oh shoot, they mean the same thing. *head explodes from logic fail*

A noob can be simply described as an idiot, but in cool interwebz lingo.
Your definition made no sense to me, and seemed contradictory.

The word noob itself is stupid its not a word

Oh god paradox

You're an idiot.
Wait..how many times have you said that today?

For some reason, I hate the word "noob." I much prefer words like "idiot".

The only time I've called someone a noob is if they are indeed one and accusing someone else of being one.  I can't say I use it as an insult outside of that.  I must agree; the word noob is idiotic, barbaric, and just plain fugly.

Agreed. It's not a word, why try and feign it?
Newb isn't either, but it's quicker than "new guy."
Although more likely to be taken offensively.

Oh dear.

Honey! I've found another one!

I just know somebody is going to post that one comic about this.
