The brilliance of the M249 is that it can be fed either by M16/M4 mags or by an ammo belt.

Imagine you're out on the field and you run out of ammo belts. Finding 5.56 ammo belts is extremely difficult, so instead you can literally just ask your bro for a magazine.

Why was it necessary to make the "mm" text size 1? .45 refers to caliber, not mm, otherwise it'd be the USP 11.43x23mm.
