In the higher grade ones, the shells are actually full magazines, shooting 2 BB's at a time but storing a lot more. It's more for realism and aesthetics than anything.

The one I linked him to uses shells that take 30 BBs, It's also tri-burst and the shells are fairly inexpensive.
They're mostly out their for people on a budget.

I don't do airsoft at all, but at least every other gun seems to function in a similar fashion to the real version. To me, the shotguns seems to miss that by only firing a few BBs at a time down multiple barrels even. I feel it breaks the sense of realism you'd want out of an airsoft gun. But as I said, I don't participate in the sport.

Bump  :cookie:

I'm getting ready to change my loadout abit and it's going to be lovey.

Going to get a PCU Level 5 and most likely some Multicam or Marpat pants, new patches, and some other stuff.
I'm excited for christmas :3

Level 5 PCU^

I dress in 70's/80's-era Marine jacket (complete with actual blood stains), and I'd really like to get a Vietnam M1 Helmet. That'd complete the costume, as I use an M16A1 (at least until I get my thompson).

They you get a fancy, rich-person shotgun, they have like a 60 bullet spread.

Bump :P
Magpul PTS is going to release an airsoft version of the FMG conversion kit along with the ACR in early 2010, hopefully during or after Shotshow 2010.

www.airsoftpx.com just launched, looks like a promising sight.

Found this earlier today, I've got to say, it's pretty damn awesome, very well done.

Keep the topic alive this time so that I don't need to tripple post in order to keep it off of the 8th page.
